Purchasing shares worth AED 2 million or more in an existing company (excluding free zones).
Depositing at least AED 2 million into a UAE-approved investment fund.

Eligibility to obtain Golden Visa as Entrepreneur:

• A letter from the relevant authorities in the Emirate confirming that the project idea is of a technical or futuristic nature in which entrepreneurship is achieved.
• A letter from the relevant authorities in the Emirate confirming that the project has a technical or futuristic nature in which entrepreneurship is achieved (project owner).
• A letter from an accredited business incubator or the relevant authority in the Emirate confirming that the project is characterized by entrepreneurship and has a technical or futuristic nature (project founder).
• A letter from an auditor in the country confirming that the project’s value is not less than AED 500,000 (project owner).
• The passport’s validity should not be less than (6) months.
• A letter from the relevant authorities in the Emirate confirming that the project idea is of a technical or futuristic nature in which entrepreneurship is achieved.

Golden Visa for Retirees

This category falls under the Residence visa for the retired program offered by the UAE government.

Eligibility For Golden Visa Golden Visa for Retirees:

– You must be 55 years old or older at the time of retirement.
Either of the following:
– A monthly retirement income of at least AED 15,000
– Savings of AED 1 million in a 3-year fixed deposit.
– Own a property with minimum of AED 1 million in unmortgaged property or mortgaged property, for which the payment to date is at least AED 1 million.
– A combination of Savings & Property. A combination of Options 2 & 3 valued for at least AED 1 million in a 3-year fixed deposit and property, worth AED500,000 each.

Important points:

Husband or wife may own property individually or jointly, but a marriage certificate is required for verification.

There are three main pathways for outstanding students to qualify for the Golden Visa:

Graduates of Accredited Universities in UAE

    • The university must be classified as (A) or (B) according to the classification approved by the Ministry of Education.
    • A recommendation letter from the university or the graduation certificate should indicate that the student’s cumulative GPA is not less than 3.5 for (A) classified universities or 3.8 for (B) classified universities.
    • The applicant should not have graduated more than two years ago.
    • The degree must be attested by the Ministry of Education.
    • The passport must have a validity period of at least (6) months.

Graduates of Accredited Universities outside UAE

  • The international university ranking should not be lower than the top (100) universities in the world, according to the international ranking approved by the Ministry of Education.
  • The cumulative GPA of bachelor’s degree graduates should not be less than (3.5).
  • Graduation should not have been more than two years ago.
  • The degree must be accredited by the Ministry of Education.
  • The passport’s validity should not be less than (6) months.

High School Graduates

  • Attaining a high ranking at the national level (with a GPA of no less than 95% in a government or private secondary school).
  • Submitting a recommendation letter from the Ministry of Education (Emirates Schools Establishment).
