The rules to be followed to apply for Housemaid Visa
If you are an Expatriate, you can hire a housemaid worker if your monthly salary is above AED 20,000.
In some cases, the Government entities will approve or disapprove the Visa application based on verifying your financial stability.
Moreover, a salary certificate of the sponsor should be provided.
Housemaid Visa validity information
Hiring a housemaid visa validity is per year only otherwise you will renew or cancel the visa.
Renewal- one month grace period before the visa expires should apply in this application
Cancellation- if the visa expires, there’s a 30 days grace period to process your visa cancellation, exceeding within the 30 days, fines will occur amounting to the following:
- For the first 6 months – AED 25 per day
- Exceeding the 6 months – AED 50 per day
- For every day after 1 year has passed – AED 100 per day
Requirements for Housemaid Visa processing are the following:
- Original Passport of the housemaid
- Housemaid’s current visa copy
- 4 pcs. passport size photo of the housemaid
- Housemaid Emirates ID Card copy
- No relations certificate
- Fill in Emirates ID Application Form (Housemaid details)
- Copy of Sponsor’s Passport and Visa page
- Sponsor’s original Emirates ID Card
- Sponsor Salary Certificate Original (if the sponsor is a Free Zone Company or Government)
- Labour Contract of Sponsor (if the sponsor is an employee)
- Sponsor valid EJARI clear copy or Title Deed if the sponsor is the owner of the apartment – minimum 2 Bedroom is required and valid for more than 90 days.
- Latest Dewa Bill copy
- Sponsor three months bank statement with IBAN Number
- Sponsor Original Marriage Certificate attested in UAE Embassy country issue & Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Dubai
- Fill in the Sponsor Information form
